The Little Needle

Maya really enjoys all of the fiber experiences associated with having a quilt-producing bubbe. This week while on a field trip to Joann's we found a little magnet kit for Maya to make. It included a child's plastic needle. Maya liked the magnet project but she loved having her very own needle until walking from Aunt Izzy's apartment to the car, she dropped the needle into a drain and lost it forever. She couldn't get over it and related her loss to everyone we met. Bubbe came to the rescue with another plastic needle and another embroidery project.
