Helping with Recovery

Maya and I had an unusual week this week. Auntie Iz had surgery and we had to do lots of different activities to help Izzy with her recovery. On Tuesday we spent the morning walking the halls, making a decorative box with stickers and of course lots of "feel better" foods. On Thursday after music class, Steve joined us as Izzy took her first trip out of her apartment. Maya is very sensitive to Izzy's wound- repeating many of her new words like "boo-boo" and "hurt" to describe what her Aunt is experiencing.
