Every Thursday for fifteen weeks, Maya and I are going to Kindermusik, a program with integrated activities for us to experience together that touch aspects of Maya's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, musical, and language learning domains. Actually, it's a lot of learning for me also!

Maya is pretty shy and mostly observant in class, but in the car and at home, she uses the learning and the tunes all the time. For example- there is a tune for cleaning up and another for saying hello and good bye. And there are her favorites like- "Wishy-Washy and "Marching-Marching" and even "Rosy" takes on new meaning as we learn to stop and start as a group ensemble.
