Double Duty

Yesterday was a long day. Maya and I were together for almost 12 hours. The morning was a field trip to the Oakland library, Phipps for lunch and our favorite Schenley Park. In the afternoon, Maya really wanted to go for a walk in the rain where we looked in all of the windows in the business section of Regent Square and then bought and made some brownies from the convenience store on the corner. I learned from yesterday's experience that if I don't plan sets of activities throughout the day to entertain Maya, the day gets beyond my control!

I happen to be a long-time puddle stomper. If there is a good rain again and I'm at home, given I'm only a couple of blocks away, I would be more than happy to give Maya early puddle stomping lessons.
