Inauguration Week

As you will remember from past reports, Maya and I are Obama fans from way back and so on Tuesday, we turned on the TV to watch the inauguration. It was well worth our time. Some future day, I'll be happy to show this to Maya and remind her of our adventure. As you can tell from the photo we had a bird's eye view of everything!

Today, Thursday, we took a trip to Auntie Iz's work. She joined us for lunch and helped Maya learn to drink juice from a straw. Then we purchased some crackers and a spill proof container for Maya to be able to carry her own snacks with confidence.
