A Busy Week

Maya and I had lots of quality time together this week.

Tuesday, we went food shopping with Aunt Iz where we happily purchased a box of animal crackers. Clever Maya quickly figured out that in addition to eating the cute little crackers, shaking the box made for an excellent rattle!

Thursday, we played with toys, danced to WYEP music and played games including the forever favorite "peek-a-boo".

Friday, Maya came over to my place after daycare. Her teacher gave her homework- to work on her standing skills and so we did some of that before a dinner of tofu balls with pasta plus banana and yogurt.

Dear Sweet Maya,
I hope you have a wonderful birthday today. I wish I could be with you. Can't wait until you come to Mom Mom's and Pop Pop's for Christmas. There will be a lot of people here to see you and celebrate with you!!
