Better late than never: I wanted to share an embroidery I did for Maya from one of her very best baby pictures. It is made of French knots and the actual fabrics from a baby quilt I made for her. Also, I've included an embroidery our friend, Kathryn, made that I finished into a little holding blanket for Maya. It has lots of interesting patches, even a piece of Annie's baby bonnet.

Maya is blessed to have lots of records of her life from photos to videos to blogs to quilts and embroideries.

Yes, Maya is a very lucky baby. How many babies can say that they've had their portrait done in French knots! :) That is a very special keepsake. Thanks Bubbee! We love you!
